Bay Area Child Abuse Prevention Coalition Strategy: Child abuse, when witnessed by another, is not often reported because of the fear of intervening in family matters. A print and radio campaign was developed to help people become aware of the abuses. Schoolteachers, neighbors or anyone else who suspects that a child is being abused is encouraged to report the abuse. The campaign is also targeting abusers to who may not realize that they are risking the lives of their children as in shaking their babies.

Bloodsource Strategy: The problem was that African Americans were lagging way behind in blood and bone marrow donations. A series of TV spots were developed to inform and educate the African American audience as to the great need for donors. The concept was giving blood or getting bone marrow tested could directly save people in their own community. Testimonials were used to communicate the message. Donations went through the roof after the spots aired.

Blue Iron, Inc. Strategy: Blue Iron, Inc. had an outdated website that did little to show off a 24 year old company that is now one of the largest sheeting and shoring general engineers in the country. They wanted a website with a clean, sharp style befitting their stature within their industry as well as to showcase their unique environmentally friendly piling machine called the Giken Silent Piler. This search engine friendly website was equipped with a custom content management system that allows them to edit all content and images on their own. Google analytics was installed to provide insights into their website traffic and marketing effectiveness. Powerful, flexible and easy-to-use features let them see and analyze their traffic data. With Google Analytics, they are now more prepared to write better-targeted ads, strengthen their marketing initiatives and create higher converting website content.

California Department of Public Health Strategy: Child obesity in California is an epidemic. Especially among the lower income families.  A series of statewide TV spots focused on the idea that it is hard to fight the cheep fast food chains but it’s a lot harder to see your child fall victim to obesity resulting in being teased or worse, getting diabetes or high blood pressure. The message of these TV spots are delivered by moms who have already made those tough decisions and are fighting the battles to feed there families more fruits and vegetables.  The strategy is that other moms will look up to these moms and can be inspired to make those same changes to their families.

California State Fair Strategy: The California State Fair has been losing attendance every year. The problem was that although loyal Fair goers are still showing up, many first timers or families that used to attend but have lost interest in the Fair were not coming. The problem was three fold: the perception that the Fair was not safe due to gang activity, the high cost of admission and food and the perception that there was nothing new about the Fair. Since we didn’t want to address the safety as I would bring attention and the prices were necessary, the strategy was to inject some newness to the Fair. The Fair brought in a dinosaur exhibit and we played off of that in our TV.

Comfort Dental Care Strategy: Dr. Matt Comfort, DDS had recently launched a new website for his dental practice in Rocklin, Ca. He needed a flexible and easy-to-use analytics solution to gain insight to his websites traffic and marketing effectiveness. We installed Google Analytics to allow him to learn how customers find his site, navigate through it and become customers as well as measure the success of his display, search, new media and offline advertising efforts.  Google Analytics reports provides an awareness that now allows him to improve online results.

Crush29 Strategy: Crush29 had no web analytics solution so we implemeneted Google Analytics to allow them insights to their website traffic and marketing effectiveness. They specifically wanted to determine how many hits to their online reservations button through Open Table they were getting, so we implemented a custom tracking feature which allowed them to see both their hits and conversions. Google Analytics can now help them buy the right keywords, target the best markets and engage and convert more customers.

Drexel University for Graduate Studies Strategy: Drexel University is a very distinguished University back East.  When they came to Sacramento to open a graduate studies campus nobody knew who they were. Many students were predisposed to attend other postgraduate schools. UC Davis, Sacramento State etc.  Since Drexel was very committed to teaching the leaders of tomorrow, a series of print ads were developed to reinforce the history, legacy and innovative teaching that Drexel was know for in other parts of the country. The message: If you want to stand out and be a leader in business, get a post graduate degree from Drexel.

Jeld-wen Windows and Doors Strategy: Jeld-wen’s Pozzi Wood Windows didn’t have a brand position in the market. After looking at the high quality of construction and accessing competitor’s attributes we determined that Pozzi could own the position of performance. Anderson windows owned the position of light. The next biggest competitor was known for technology. Nobody was advertising performance. We did a series of print ads in trade publications touting the performance and craftsmanship. “Outstanding. Out Performing” was the theme we created.
